The Marciana Library was built in the 1500’s and is located opposite the famous Doge’s Palace directly between the Grand Canal and San Mark’s Square.
San Mark’s Square is an iconic location in Venice known and recognised across the world and visited by a global audience of over 20 million people every year.
Events such as the Carnival in February and the Film Festival in September are focal points in the year but the city of Venice is a year round visitor attraction.
